EZ Dating Coach, Mike Goldstein, shared a story about his friend. She had been on a few dates with a guy and she felt like they were really hitting it off. She was worried because when she felt this way in the past, she was left feeling disappointed and depressed when they never made it past date 3 or 4. She really wanted this relationship to work.
Dating someone new can fill you with a mix of emotions. You're anxious and nervous and excited all at the same time. If you are like Mike's friend and you want the relationship to keep growing, there are a few simple steps that you can take. You gotta N.A.A.B him! Make him feel needed, appreciated, accepted, and set sexy boundaries.
Needed: Men are drawn to women that make them feel needed. Even the smallest of requests can have a large impact. For example, simply asking your man to grab the sugar for you when you are out for coffee will make him feel needed. Men love completing tasks and they love feeling important and helpful.
Appreciation: It is important to thank and praise your man. These kind words will make him feel good about himself. If your man brings you the sugar for your coffee, thank him and call him a gentleman. He will love that he did something to make you happy and your words of appreciation make him feel rewarded for a job well done.
Accepted: Everyone wants to feel accepted. Be open and understanding with your man. Accept him for who he is and don't try to change him. If a man feels like it's ok to be himself, he will feel comfortable and relaxed. We all have different hobbies, quirks, personality traits, and ways of doing things. We have to love and accept ourselves and we have to love and accept our partners.
Boundaries: It is important that we don't push ourselves or our partners to do anything that we aren't ready to do. Sometimes, women feel like they have to have sex with a guy to keep him interested in her. It is up to you to set your boundaries. Men who are looking for a relationship actually find boundaries to be very sexy. If the topic of sex arrives, simply let him know that you aren't ready to take things to that level but you would love to keep seeing each other. Let him know that you are really enjoying your time together and you are excited to get to know him better. Complimenting him won't only show him that you are interested in him, it will assure him that you are not rejecting him, you just aren't ready yet. If you become exclusive, then you will be ready to be intimate with him. Set your boundaries, compliment him, and give him the motivation to continue moving forward with your relationship.

Texting is a quick, easy, and increasingly popular way to communicate. Texting a man can be fun but it can also feel a bit intimidating.
"What should I say? Should I be funny and witty? Should I be sexy? What if he doesn't respond?"
Don't trip! If you are feeling unsure about what you should text a guy, just follow these three simple rules!
Rule 1: Let Him Text You First
You might be excited and want to text a guy to let him know that you are thinking about him. This is a sweet thought but it can easily backfire. Especially if he is busy, a text, no matter how sweet, could feel more annoying than endearing. Men and woman are very different and the way that they text is no exception. Many women would love to receive a "Good Morning" text. Most men, however, wouldn't appreciate a text like that.
Rule 2: Use Texting For Logistics
Women can have full conversations through text messages. Men, however, tend to use texting primarily for logistics. What does that mean exactly? When men text, it is usually to set or confirm a date, time, or place. They prefer that things be quick, easy, and to the point. If you need to have a long conversation, a phone call would be a better option. Research shows that you cannot build an emotional connection through text messages. You can, however, build an emotional connection via phone conversations. So remember... Keep it short and sweet when texting your man. Any longer conversations should be on the phone or, better yet, in person.
Rule 3: If You Must Text First, Send A Photo of You Having Fun!
If you are in a committed, long term relationship, send your man a picture of you having a great time while out with your friends. Your man loves seeing you happy! It makes him feel good! You have built a life together and you are able to go out and have fun. He loves seeing that!
Texting fun photos is also a great idea when you are in a new relationship. If you just started dating and you are out having fun, send him a photo! He will be drawn to you and your happy life. By sending him this photo, you are showing him that you have a magnificent life and he can be part of it.

Knowing how your partner wants to be loved is very important. It can really improve your relationship and help you to truly connect. In "The Five Love Languages", Gary Chapman teaches us how to do just that!
So, what are "The Five Love Languages"? They are five different ways that people want to give and receive love.
1) Words of Affirmation
This language uses words to affirm your partner. Kind words and compliments make these people feel loved and appreciated.
2) Acts of Service
For these people, actions speak louder than words. Doing something nice, like cooking a meal for them or helping them to complete a task, makes these people feel loved and supported.
3) Receiving Gifts
For some people, what makes them feel most loved is to receive a gift. This does not mean that they are greedy or materialistic. When you give these people gifts, it shows them that you were thinking about them. They cherish not only the physical gift, but also the thought that they were on your mind.
4) Quality Time
This language is all about giving the other person your undivided attention. Spending one on one time with these people will make them feel special and happy. It shows them that they are important to you and you enjoy spending time with them.
5) Physical Touch
To this person, nothing speaks more deeply than touch. This touch is not necessarily sexual in nature. It is a touch that makes them feel safe and relaxed. Show them your love them by being affectionate and close to them. Hold their hand, rub their back, give them a hug... This makes them feel your love.
Identify which one of these love languages you and your partner gravitate toward. Men and women usually have one primary love language, as well as a secondary love language. You and your partner might have the same primary and secondary love languages or you might have completely different ones. That doesn't matter at all. Once you've figured out how you both feel loved, you can show each other love in a way that truly completes one another.
How can you identify your love languages? Just follow these steps:
1) Observe your way of expressing love.
2) Observe how your partner expresses love.
3) Listen to what your partner like and wants.
4) Observe what your partner dislikes.
